SPACE AND LIGHT

So, sometime in the distant past I studied architecture at university and that is where I got my love the way that space is formed by light and shade falling on it. As a photographer it's my job to use the light, natural or portable studio lights, to bring out the best from the interior spaces that I'm photographing, be that a hotel bedroom, a luxury kitchen or capturing the stunning interiors of bars, restaurants and houses.
It's the highlights and shadows that shape spaces, it's great lighting that makes the colours pop and bring the interiors to life. The UK weather doesn't often give you the lighting that you want and so it's a creative challenge that I always enjoy, to enhance the ambient lighting and capture the mood of the original design.
